Most Design Drifter tools run entirely inside your browser.

Information entered into local tools — text, numbers, files, images — is not sent to our servers.

Some tools remember preferences directly on your device using your browser’s local storage — your theme choice, favorited tools, and recently used tools. This never leaves your device and we cannot see it.

The Meta Checker, Open Graph Checker, Robots.txt Checker, Sitemap Checker, Website Launch Checker, HTTP Headers/TLS Checker and Hreflang Checker tools send the public URL you enter to our servers in order to retrieve that website’s public information. DNS Lookup sends the hostname to our server, which queries Google Public DNS; Domain Availability sends the domain to our server, which queries public RDAP services; and Currency Converter requests the selected currency pair from a public exchange-rate service.

We don’t use analytics, tracking cookies, or ads. Requests to the website-checking tools briefly check your IP address in memory to prevent abuse; it is not logged or stored.

The contact form stores the name, email address, and message you submit in our database so we can read and reply to it, and forwards a copy to us by email. It does not store your IP address.
